Retail leader in the Baltic States MAXIMA GRUPĖ, UAB, which manages "Maxima" retail chains in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, "Stokrotka" in Poland, "T-Market" in Bulgaria, and the online store "Barbora" in the Baltic States, announces consolidated financial results for 2023.
On 19 March, UAB Vilniaus prekyba, the sole shareholder of MAXIMA GRUPĖ, UAB, adopted a decision to reduce the number of members of the Supervisory Board and the composition of the Audit Committee of MAXIMA GRUPĖ, UAB was also renewed.
"Barbora Polska" Sp. z o. o., providing home food delivery service in Tricity, Warsaw, Katowice, and Lodz in Poland, is ceasing its operations. It is planned that "Barbora" services will be provided until March 3.
As of February 24, Diana Gegelytė was appointed as the sole member (CEO) of the board of MAXIMA Eesti OÜ, succeeding Kristina Mustonen.
MAXIMA GRUPĖ, which operates retail chains and e-commerce in the Baltic States, Poland, and Bulgaria, has its near-term science-based emissions reduction targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) at the end of December 2023, after committing to set such targets earlier in March the same year. The Scope 1 and 2 targets ambition have been classified as in line with 1.5oC trajectory.
