Maxima Grupe has renewed its management structure

In order to prepare for the upcoming expansion, UAB Vilniaus prekyba, the shareholder of UAB MAXIMA GRUPE, has decided to renew corporate management structure of the company, thus forming a new management body – the Supervisory Board.

The newly appointed members of the Maxima Grupė Supervisory Board are: Marius Čatrauskas, Chairman of the Board at Vilniaus prekyba; Jolanta Bivainytė, Head of Talka LT; and Petras Jašinskas, who previously worked as the Chairman of the Maxima Grupė Executive Board.

“With the renewed structure we introduce the best corporate management practices within the company. Modern, transparent and efficient management is an important basis for the implementation of our ambitious goals,” commented Marius Čatrauskas.

"By forming the Supervisory Board we are aiming to strengthen management structure of Maxima Grupė by separating operational management functions that would be taken care of by the Executive Board, from the strategic supervision that is provided by the Supervisory Board," said Petras Jašinskas.

He will be replaced by Dalius Misiūnas, CEO of Maxima Grupė and Franmax, who previously worked as Vice-chairman of the Board.

“These changes will help the company to adopt important decisions more effectively and at a faster pace as it progresses toward the next stage of its renewal and active expansion,” commented Dalius Misiūnas.
