As of 8 December, Tomas Rupšys becomes the CEO and sole board member of Maxima Latvija SIA. Tomas Rupšys also joins the management board of Maxima Grupė UAB. He replaces Viktors Troicins in these positions who is leaving the group upon mutual agreement.

As of 6 November, Karolis Ceizaris becomes the CEO of Franmax, a subsidiary of Maxima Grupė, which provides IT development, support and maintenance services to the group’s companies. He is replacing Mantas Kuncaitis who has been running Franmax. M. Kuncaitis will continue to serve as Maxima Grupė‘s CEO and Chairman of the Board.

As of 15 October, Mantas Kuncaitis is becoming the CEO of Maxima Grupė UAB and Franmax UAB, and he will also serve as the chairman of Maxima Grupė‘s board. Jurgita Šlekytė, who has been leading Maxima Grupė until now, is moving to lead VP group‘s alternative investments companies.

“Maxima Grupė revenue grew up by 6.3% in the first half of 2020 versus the same period last year, as further expansion in Poland continued. Strong first quarter performance combined with good cost control allowed to reach EBITDA of EUR 163 million, despite negative impact from COVID-19” said Maxima Grupė’s Chief Financial Officer Vitalij Rakovski.

On 2 September 2020, Maxima Grupė transferred the shares of its subsidiary Maxima International Sourcing to another of its subsidiaries Maxima LT.

“The decision was taken in order to consolidate the two companies’ purchasing teams, thus taking advantage of their synergies and ensuring the highest quality and the best prices for Maxima’s customers,” says Maxima Grupė CEO Jurgita Šlekytė.
